FED.az reports that, according to the State Statistics Committee (SSC), there was an increase in the construction sector during the period when most economic indicators weakened - in January-April. In the first 4 months, construction works worth 852 million manats were carried out in the country, which is approximately 2% more than last year. Housing construction increased by 15%.

Moreover, as it is the construction season and to overcome the economic passivity, the construction work is expected to accelerate in the coming months.

On the other hand, it is expected that the demand for engineering and construction installation work related to the construction of business facilities will increase, especially in the regions. Construction licenses are required for the implementation of such works.
